Last night I had this really awesome dream: School was like a series of puzzles and games we had to play our way through using our knowledge . . . only our knowledge was magical-stuff, a la Harry Potter. One of the games was a historical (and historical here meaning mythological) trivia thingy . . . and if we got questions wrong, we'd die or something.

And one of the "tasks" we had to go through was identifying parts of this weird action figure thing of Elendil, and describe the history behind each thing. Like, there was an Elendil figurine, a little palantír, a set of seven silver stars, a little white tree, and his sword. It was so cool. I knew a lot of the stuff already, and then I whipped out my copy of Unfinished Tales to fill in the rest of the blanks.

If school was like that for real, I'd die of happiness.

Yeah. Last night my subconscious decided to be weird again. In my latest dream, I was getting on a train to go move into college with three small bags of stuff. I didn't have a computer because my dad refused, for some reason, to pay for one and I didn't have enough money to buy one myself.

The weird part is, it was still senior year of high school, I hadn't even applied to the college I was moving into, and Becky and her mom accompanied me on my journey to school - we took the train from here to Ohio, I believe. I was extremely negative about my chances of getting enough money for Kenyon, so I decided to move in at Wooster. A boy from my music theory class was going on the same train to Kenyon, and I was incredibly jealous of him.

Strange. It's not surprising to me that I had a dream about college and stuff, but for some reason I've felt really disoriented all day. Darn sinuses! I wish they'd go away, or at least not be filled with festering phlegm. Eurgh.

I should go do some homework now. Or, as my dream so subtly reminded me, work on apps.

Aaargh.

I had two or three really interesting, strange dreams last night. I woke up early this morning and thought of writing them down, but then decided that I would remember them because they were just that bizarre.

Well, I don't. Hmm. Maybe they'll come flooding back to me later.

New spring!colors. That's about the most interesting thing I've done all day, unfortunately. Changing my LJ's colors, I mean.

This warm weather reminds me of last year around this time, with all of the burnout and whatnot. And I don't know . . . It seems strange. How much everything's changed.

The ACT with writing was a big waste of 4 and a half hours or so this morning; fortunately I won't have to take that test again on a Saturday. Ever. I think.

College research is kind of tiring. Or maybe it's just my lack of sleep this week catching up with me. I took a good nap this afternoon, and had a dream in which I got my own computer. That was a nice dream.

I wish I had done less sitting around today, and more productive things - like running, or doing some of my homework, or reading The Hitchhiker's Guide, or finding a prom dress. Oh well. Can't have everything.

I have this inexplicable desire to eat a popsicle. Strange.

Okay, here's the big dream update.

ExpandThe one with Alex, Abby, and Anya )

I had another weird dream last night, too, but right now my mom wants me to take a shower so I can help with housework. Ickity-ick. I think I'd rather sit here, suring LJ and the Plaza. I'll write about the other two dreams later, I guess.

I had the weirdest dream last night; [livejournal.com profile] cenire was in it, too.

She (apparently) came over to visit, and I (for some reason) had to go to my private teacher's house . . . We drove there with my mom, but I decided to drive back, and we almost died in a car crash.

That was basically it, and I think the dream's purpose was to either:
a) get my to finish writing/sending my letters to [livejournal.com profile] cenire and [livejournal.com profile] afrai

or

b) scare the pee out of me, since I have my first behind-the-wheel lesson for Driver's Ed on Monday. Ay.

Anyway . . . Time to go root hopelessly (almost) for the Cubs.

EEE!! Just went to mall with Melissa. I bought Jacques and Gus mice stuffed animals at the Disney store, and tons and tons of candy - Sour Patch . . . Mmm.

I have never seen any plush characters from Cinderella before in my entire life, and it being my first obsession, I couldn't resist them. Besides, they were half off. So that makes a good deal. Right?

Oh, and I had THE STRANGEST dream last night. It somehow had to do with fast food, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Wargs.

Trust, me it was one of the weirdest dreams I have ever had. And I woke up with a mad urge to get my hands of HP OoP, such as has not yet surfaced yet within me. ::sigh::

Ho hum

So, um, today I did stuff with my RL friends for the first time in . . . weeks.

It wasn't a big deal, but Sara, Betsy and I walked over to Wendy's/Quizno's (they're right next to each other). It was nice to do something with them again, especially since Sara - with whom I used to do everything - and I haven't seen each other that much lately, what with her doing 3409187245 activities at school and me having NO LIFE whatsoever.

Blah. I need to practice; I have a private lesson tonight. Mr. K will probably wonder what happened to all of my practicing, but I will explain that I had a sore throat and had to stop for three straight days. Eurgh. That thought nearly makes me feel worse than being sick. Almost.
