some thoughts . . .
Jan. 10th, 2006 07:37 pmSo, I was right about English - nobody dropped, but it's still awesome. My pivot partner has surprisingly insightful comments on some of the poetry we've been reading, and it's fun to bounce ideas off him and see his reactions.
I really do think I will end up majoring in English. To me, things like Calc and Chemistry simply can't compare to literature. However, I've been thinking about an environmental studies minor/concentration, if the school I so happen to attend offers it. Given my concern with the environment and those kinds of issues, it'd be cool to take some of the classes I've read about in course catalogs. But I also want to pursue Spanish in some way in college . . . Oh sigh. There are so many things I want to do!
But, you know, I haven't even gotten into all these schools yet, so maybe I'm jumping the gun by a couple years with all these thoughts. At least I've got ideas going, though; if I pursue them or not is something only time will tell. Right? Sure.
Time to go do some EXERCISE! It's what keeps me sane. I should really sign up for that track pass thingy at the community center; then a bit of the tedium will be taken out of working out, ish.
Also, I burned my tongue on a veggie patty tonight. *numb tongue*
