a ten-minute dream in the passenger seat

Today I
- Applied for jobs at 3 places, and got an interview at one of them tomorrow
- Found/bought a prom dress!
- Got some shopping done
- Got a letter from Kenyon
- Fixed my housing app for Illinois (serious load off my mind), and
- Ate a scone, drank some tea, and very nearly took over the world . . . all of which were delicious

I'm quite surprised at how . . . calm I was about Kenyon's letter. It's pretty much out of the running for both financial and me-wanting-to-go-there reasons, but it was still nifty to get in.

I should practice for Chicago tomorrow afternoon. And read that one book.
