Okie dokie, I've got a new email address: fragile_stickers@yahoo.com. I figured I'd take advantage of their new 100 mb feature for free accounts. Teehee.

I am going to the Cubs game tomorrow, as I've said before . . . I am pretty happy about that, especially since it means I will not have to go to work. Because today was the single busiest day I have ever experienced in that office, probably since it is the end of the month and all of the orders just HAD to be shipped today because the customers need to be billed before the end of their fiscal year (tomorrow).

But what am I doing, talking about work for so long?! Has the office life really corrupted me that much? Well, let's see:

- My mom and I have started referring to people from work by their first names only at home, much to the annoyance of my dad
- I ran today for the first time in about a MONTH (I am usually very lazy after a day at work, although this isn't really an excuse since I have four days off a week. Grrr, stupid being-out-of-shape-ness.)

Ok, so there's not a lot there . . . But I am really starting to think that it would be best if I didn't work next summer, especially if I score well on the ACT this year or whatever for scholarships.

Did I post about the possibility of an English Major in here yet? I don't remember. So, I will at this time.

Dad inspired me to look into majoring in English because of my deep devotion to Tolkien's works (and also because reading books is the only thing I've had a passion for pretty much ever since I could do it.) What kind of careers could I get there? I've done Google Searches, but I am not finding much that's helping. I mean, what colleges have good programs for such a major? Help me, for I am ignorant of the world of colleges. Please?

Oh, and it is likely that I will be getting my own laptop at the end of this summer, when I will be able to help pay for it with my summer earnings. (!!!!!!!!) Muy exciting-o. Yeah. My spanish has definitely deteriorated in the five weeks or so since I've taken Spanish. Eurgh. I've got a whole year of it ahead of me. Eurgh.

Well, I'm done for tonight. Peace out.

Hmmm. There are a lot of colleges with really excellent English programs. It sort of depends on what you're looking for -- for example, how big of a school do you think you'd like to attend? Would you feel more comfortable in an urban setting, a rural setting, a suburban setting, or something else? Are you looking for a school which also has a good music program? Once you narrow down your criteria it might be easier to give you suggestions. I think collegeboard.com also has a neat little survey you can take if you specify some of your preferences. :)

Whoa, you just helped a ton. Like a voice in the back of my head that's guiding me through this or something! ;)

Thanks for all the help. ::smooches::
