AY, DE MI!

Oh. My. God.
So, here's how it is: My next door neighbors' son and his family moved in with them until they can find a new house, apparently. I don't know what happened to their old house, but they don't have it anymore.
They have a small children. Three, I think. Not that small children are a threat to the neighborhood or anything, but . . . Wow. I guess, since everyone on my block is growing older, I forgot what it's like to have little kids riding their bikes/trikes up and down the sidewalk, running around screaming for fun, or screaming inside the house for reasons unbeknownst to me.
I can hear a child (seemingly) throwing a temper tantrum right now. AAgh.
Interesting how the world changes as you get older.
