I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want (though I reserve the right to not answer, or to answer evasively). Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including me) to ask you anything.
I. Hate. Feeling. Like. This.
Not only like I was feeling in yesterday's post, but the fact that I've got absolutely ZERO motivation towards ANYTHING in life anymore. Seriously. I can't tell you how "blah" I've been feeling, because I'm too "blah" to think up a good description and type it out.
I'm not motivated to do my math homework, much less read about World War Two for AP US, even though we've got a quiz on it tomorrow. I don't want to practice clarinet. Or go out and buy bass clarinet reeds, for that matter, so that I would have a reason to actually play the bass other than the fact that we've got rehearsal on Saturday with the Chicago Children's Choir.
Band is the same. All I want to do when I'm in there is whack Mr. C over the head and run out. Running, actually, is perhaps the only thing I've felt like doing lately. It allows me to focus my energy on something that doesn't involve achieving anything but keeping in motion, letting my muscles groan with the strain, and yet feeling good about myself for doing it.
I think running is the only thing I've felt good about doing in the past few days. Granted, this could all be totally PMS-related, but I think it also has something to do with what Cynthia calls "sophomoritis" - you know, that intense desire to get up and LEAVE the freaking school and this stupid town two years early because we're so tired of the daily grind.
BLAARRGGGEDYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Date: 2004-04-14 06:44 pm (UTC)2. Hmm. Don't know too much about Batman, but I like the name Clayface.
3. It could be because we've got so many varieties and types of potato chips that our taste buds have been tricked into thinking that anything salty is chips! :)
::hearts you, tambien!::
