distractions?

I'm not lamenting the loss of this 28-day month, nor will I be lamenting the loss of March, really. Unless my college decision turns out to be particularly difficult. Then I'll want March and April to slow down, so I have time to make my decision before National Declaration Day.

I need to distract myself from this college-dilemma-thing. I never would've imagined it would come to this. I will basically be choosing between active involvement in a challenging music program and lots of personal attention from profs. Pros and cons to each. I could go on forever about this, but I won't. Mr. Jordan was right - I need to put it out of my mind for a while, and let it soak in subconsciously. Then maybe a sudden epiphany about which college to attend will strike me.
Cleaning seems to be a good method of distraction, and homework would probably be a good idea for tomorrow. Ultimate Frisbee and LJ-ing are also good. So are movies. V for Vendetta was pretty entertaining; it reminded me a lot of 1984.
Anyway. Right now I am wishing I could resolve this stupid college thing, be a better writer, and actually summon some initiative as far as schoolwork goes. We'll see what tomorrow (today) holds.

Date: 2006-03-19 06:29 am (UTC)You have almost two whole months to make a decision...that's a really long time to mull over your options. Don't rush. You've got time. The way I see it, you have it narrowed down to two excellent schools where you can see yourself at. No matter where you go to get your college experience, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Yay LJ-ing! I've been neglecting that lately. (Recent, long-ass entry excepted.)
Hmm...out of three things mentioned in the las paragraph, I vote for the writing thing. But that's only because I'm a writing dork. :)

Date: 2006-03-19 06:34 am (UTC)I'm not insane . . . Really.
I was enjoying working on my next creative piece for English tonight, so maybe I'll just write tomorrow. It'd be nice if I could have inspiration now and then that's not on an assignment sheet. Oh well.
Yay for nondescriptive, vague tags! :)
