first day back, etc. etc.

Today, the start of the last semester of high school (!!), saw me meandering sleepily through the day. I think my sleep schedule may be just a *teensy* bit off.
AP English Lit is going to be amazing, provided that about 15 people drop the class. As that won't happen, it's going to be crowdedly-amazing. Mr. Jordan's awesomeness can cut through an overstuffed classroom any day. Hurrah for waking up to English!
AP Calc is going to be a nightmare. Well, that's my prediction at this point. I've forgotten nearly everything (what's an integral?), and Mr. V is coming off a semester of teaching algebra classes. Oy. We need alliances of awesomeness to save ourselves from evil calculus! Good thing there are so many awesome people in the class.
Band should be pretty sweet, as usual. I need to get in gear with Blue Shades, though. *freaked out by solo*
Aaaaand AP Chem. Well, yeah. Hopefully it'll just continue on in its vein of blah-ness. I don't think I'll be able to take any excitement after all three of those classes.
Weekend will be full of homework, I'm thinking - I tried to get some stuff done tonight and ended up writing in my written journal and listening to music. Woops. Oh well. I'll probably enjoy the english, which is the majority of the stuff I need to do.
Anyway. Time for bed.

Date: 2006-01-07 08:34 pm (UTC)I feel the same way about my AP Eng and AP Calc classes. We haven't started integrals in Calc yet.

Date: 2006-01-08 05:00 pm (UTC)AP lit has me scared a little bit, and I love English. So hopefully all the people that don't love English as much will be scared into dropping it. I feel bad saying that, but...I don't think everyone in that class really WANTS to be there.
And a lot of people might drop, you never know. When Ms. VonderHaar gave us all that reading/question stuff at the beginning of first term three people dropped out of fourth period. And that work was nothing compared to the homework we were given this weekend.
